Since the young age of 13, DJ Briller grew up loving the sounds of electronic music thanks to his first music purchase of Technotronic on tape!

His keen interest in electronica lead him to begin electronic music production during college years. Then, after many years of clubbing and witnessing great acts such as Ultrasonic, Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Crystal Method and DJs such as Darren Emerson, Nick Warren and Carl Cox, Briller started to feel the need for mixing music.

His love of drum 'n' bass began after seeing Aphrodite mix up a 3hr set in 1998. Then later saw one of his major influences, LTJ Bukem and MC Conrad at the 'Winter breaks' festival in Sydney.

In early 2006, Briller met with Pure DJ's owner, 'Tranvo' and the path to DJing became a reality. Soon after, the two started to host their own nights; 'BreakOut Lab', to promote the style of music they preferred to play. Naturally, Briller pursued his interest in the lighter, liquid style of drum n bass (dnb).

In relatively quick time, DJ Briller has already managed to impress dnb lovers interstate. In may 2008, Briller was the feature DJ at 'Worlds Collide' which was held in Adelaide, Wakefield Hotel and hosted by Lightmare Productions.

DJ Briller is fast becoming a recognised contributer to the Australian dnb scene. He continues to impress with his unique style of mixing and 'journey-like' sets. Currently, DJ Briller is heavily influenced by the likes of Logistics, High Contrast, LM1, Alix Perez, Big Bud, Redeyes, London Elektricity, Klute and Nookie.
